Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling your institution with MyGuardianship, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. These terms govern the access and use of our student information systems, teacher portals, parent safety apps, and camera AI analytical layers.

2. Subscription Licensing

We grant the partner institution a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our platform based on active subscription tiers. Licenses are calculated per active student record. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and must be paid in full to prevent temporary account suspension.

3. Ownership of Data

The school retains all intellectual property, copyright, and ownership rights to all information entered into the MyGuardianship platform (including student grades, attendance logs, and campus files). We claim no ownership over school records.

4. Account Responsibilities & Security

Partner institutions are responsible for:

• Securing administrator, teacher, and parent portal login credentials.
• Verifying that all student data uploaded complies with regional data safety laws.
• Authorizing specific staff credentials for exam proctoring or CCTV safety reviews.

5. SLA & System Availability

We endeavor to maintain a core platform availability of 99.9% uptime SLA. Scheduled system maintenance is conducted during weekend non-school hours (e.g. Saturday 11:00 PM to Sunday 3:00 AM) and is notified to IT coordinators 48 hours in advance.
