Legal Framework

Privacy Policy

Our commitment to student data safety, data sovereignty, and regulatory transparency.

1. Core Privacy Philosophy

At MyGuardianship, we believe that student, teacher, and parent data is strictly confidential. We act strictly as a Data Processor under the instruction of partner educational institutions, who remain the sole Data Fiduciaries. We do not sell, rent, or commercialize any personally identifiable information (PII) for advertising or profiling.

2. Information We Process

In operating our school management platform, we process data provided directly by institutions or parents:

  • Student Records: Names, enrollment details, grades, attendance logs, and examination scripts.
  • Parent & Guardian Details: Contact details (emails, geofencing coordinates for bus pick-up), billing details, and fee payment history.
  • Academic Content: Question papers, assignment submissions, and proctoring logs.
  • Premises Security Logs: Camera streams (processed locally in-memory for boundary analysis) and visitor check-in registries.

3. Compliance & Data Sovereignty

We align our operations with prevailing regional and global directives:

  • DPDP Act Alignment: Parent consent is requested before processing student PII. Parents can review or request deletion of data through their school administration.
  • Local Cloud Storage: All student databases and backup layers are hosted locally inside isolated domestic cloud regions to verify data sovereignty.

4. Data Retentions & Deletion

We store student records only for the duration of the institution's active service subscription. Upon contract expiration or termination, all local cloud data, database logs, and backup snapshots are securely purged or returned to the school administration within 30 business days.

5. Contact & Audits

For specific data requests, parent inquiries, or audit reviews, please contact our legal desk directly at support@myguardianship.com.
